Danish Food Cluster

The Danish food industry is among the world's most efficient and knowledge-intensive. This success is based on good agricultural land, a high level of education and a collaborative structure that has its foundation in the Danish cooperative movement. National competition, demands from Danish consumers and from export markets creates a constant environment for change, and globally, Denmark is at the forefront when it comes to food quality and safety and the development of new products.

cluster environment supports growth, employment, attracts foreign companies, investments, and talent and work.

A good example of a successful cluster environment is the Food Valley in the Netherlands.

Central Denmark Region, Future Food Innovation, RegX and Agro Food Park have joined forces to identify the underpinning knowledge needed to develop a successful Danish food cluster.
